Your technical debt already has a price.

Here it is.

TDIA, our Tech Debt Calculator, prices every finding in your repository in dollars, ranks what costs you most, and opens pull requests to pay it down. Re-scored on every push, so the number never goes stale.

TDIA Debt trend dashboard: debt index, cost to fix, open findings and the highest-severity findings to look at first
Why it matters

Tech debt loses every budget conversation, because it has no number.

Engineering feels it as drag. Finance can only fund what's quantified. And AI coding tools now write code faster than teams can maintain it. TDIA reads the code, not a survey, and puts both sides on one axis.

01
Evidence, not opinion
Every finding cites the file and the pattern behind it, so the number survives review by the people who wrote the code.
02
Priced in dollars
Cost to carry and cost to fix, per finding, so a refactor can be weighed against a roadmap item honestly.
03
Never out of date
Push and pull-request events re-run the scan, so the figure tracks the codebase instead of aging in last quarter's slide.
04
Fixed, not just flagged In pilot
For the findings you choose, TDIA opens a pull request with the change. Your team reviews and merges.
How it works

Measure. Prioritize. Fix.

A reasoning pipeline, not a linter. Specialists run in dependency-ordered waves, each building on what the last found. A critic clears the noise before anything reaches you.

Measure
Step 01
Route
Languages detected, files sent to the right specialists.
Step 02
Scan
Independent passes run in parallel across the repo.
Step 03
Correlate
Later passes reason over earlier findings to catch compound risk.
Prioritize
Step 04
Calibrate
Duplicates merged and every finding priced: one problem, one number.
Step 05
Report
Ranked by cost, posted back to the commit or pull request.
Fix In pilot
Step 06
Remediate
For the findings you approve, TDIA opens a pull request with the change and the cost it retires. Nothing merges without your team.

Packaged for GitHub

Four ways in. You control every permission.

Measure mode is read-only: checks, pull requests, contents and metadata. Fix mode is opt-in: TDIA opens pull requests on its own branch and never pushes to your main branch or merges on its own. Scans run on your own Anthropic API key, so your code never reaches Athenaworks. Per-tenant credentials are encrypted at rest.

GitHub OAuthAvailable
Connect a repo from the dashboard. Push and PR webhooks trigger re-scans.
GitHub ActionIn approval
A self-contained CI step; the scan runs entirely inside your own pipeline.
GitHub AppIn approval
Short-lived installation tokens, a Check Run on the commit, one PR comment kept current.
Self-hosted runnerOn request
For enterprises keeping source inside their own perimeter.
How it compares

Analyzers grade code. Coding agents write it. TDIA prices it, and pays it down.

The difference isn't coverage. It's who decides what's worth fixing, and in what currency.

Who builds it

Built by the team that can retire the debt too.

Athenaworks has delivered software with globally sourced senior teams since 2013. TDIA fixes what it can; the same engineers help you clear the rest.

FAQ

Questions about TDIA

What is TDIA (Tech Debt Calculator)?
TDIA is our Tech Debt Calculator. It prices your technical debt in dollars, ranks what costs you most and, in pilot, opens pull requests to fix it. Every finding is traced to a file, a risk and a cost, re-scored on every push.
Does TDIA see or store my code?
TDIA never stores your code, and it never reaches Athenaworks: scans run on your own Anthropic API key. Measure mode is read-only; Fix mode is opt-in and only opens pull requests for your team to review.
What does the pilot include?
Free for 3 months: one repository, one costed report, walked through with your team.
How is TDIA different from SonarQube or an AI coding agent?
Analyzers grade code and coding agents write it when asked. TDIA prices each finding in dollars, ranks what's worth fixing first, and opens pull requests to fix it, on every push.
